Christmas...!
I also find that people are asking me more and more what I want for Christmas. I really don't want anything. I'm pretty ok about not asking for anything at all. That way I dont expect anything and I'm happy with whatever I happen to get and DONT expect. I think that I dont ask as much becuase I realize that thats not what Christmas is about. I love buying things for people and then seeing their reactions when they open their gifts. I think that that is the greatest gift I could ever recieve.
Another subtopic:
I don't celebrate Christmas until January 7th. People dont usually know that about me. I am Ukrainian. It's a long and hard story to explain, so therefore I wont. Ukrainians celebrate christmas on a different date and that should be all that matters. People are all excited about the 25th and I simply smile and nod, not caring to tell that I couldnt care less. Except I'm not that heartless. The 25th is just another day for me as well as the 24th.
